Terms and Conditions for participating at the 3. Catalysts Coding Contest
Anonymity
The participation at the contest is anonymous in principle. We need the personal details only for the payment of the participation fee.
Every participant decides after the coding contest whether or not to stay anonymous.
If a participant wants to reveal who he is, his name will be shown on the public ranking list (”Hall of Fame”).
In addition to the name, each participant can provide his contact details (email, up to three links to web pages) and a picture for inclusion on the Hall of Fame.
Each participant has to take care that he / she is allowed to have the appropriate rights for placing the links targeted at those web pages. Catalysts retains the right to refuse the inclusion of those links.
Source Code
It is possible to participate at the contest without revealing one’s source code.
Each participant decides before the coding contest whether or not to have the source code uploaded to the test server automatically and periodically.
Each participant decides after the coding contest whether or not to upload the final source code to the test server.
If a participants agrees to upload the source code, he grants Catalysts the rights to show the source code on web pages and other media as well as to use it for any other means.
Only if a participants wants to have his name shown with the source code may Catalysts reveal the identity of the creator of the source code.
